The World of Warcraft has more than 11 million players logging in each month to complete quests and explore it’s massive fantasy realms. This makes it the largest MMORPG online game in the world.
But there are many new players that never get to understand the true depth of this incredible game simply because their characters don’t make enough gold to buy stronger armor, better weapons and pay for higher skill levels. So they tend to give up in frustration rather than keep playing. Actually its relatively easy to earn in-game WoW gold quickly and buy the things a character needs.
If you search online, you’ll find lots of maps and quest cheats that can tell you how to finish the quests you need to earn experience points, but that’s not the same as learning to generate your own gold in-game whenever you want. Many of the more experienced players will give you a few ideas as to how you can make some gold, but they won’t give away all their secrets to making huge amounts of gold. So here are some easy gold-making tips to help you on your way:
Levels and Loot
When you start playing World of Warcraft, the idea is to get your character up to the highest level you can as fast as you can. The easiest way to cruise through the lower levels is to kill any monster that comes your way and to complete as many of the lower level quests as you can.
Now if you have quests in your quest log that are grey, get rid of them because they don’t give you any experience if you complete them. But as long as those quests are green or yellow, you’re earning experience points that can help you to level quickly, and each quest that you complete will also give you loot or in-game money as a reward for finishing. When you’re still playing a low level character, remember to collect all the loot you can. This means that anything dropping from the monsters you kill can be sold. Even if it’s just a few coppers at these low levels, they will eventually add up.
If you visit an Auction House, you can often sell them for more than you could get by selling them to a vendor in a town or city. But if the Auction House won’t take them, you can still cash these items in at any vendor anyway.
When you send your character to an Auction House, you’ll quickly notice that the new players always undercut everyone else’s price so that they can offer the lowest prices. They think this will make them more sales, but smart players understand that buying these items under-priced, and then immediately putting them back up at their real prices is a great way to make easy profits without doing the hard work.
Professions and Skills
In the World of Warcraft, a character has many options when it comes to choosing a profession or gaining skills that can help increase strength, health, experience and other things. The majority of players seem to think that you need to get skills that work together, and will advise that if you choose mining then you need to take blacksmithing also in order to make gold. Or perhaps they’ll suggest herbalism goes with alchemy to save you buying materials to create your potions.
The game creators intended for players to try and match the skills together, but the reality is that choosing gold-making skills can make you very rich in-game with more gold than you know what to do with.
If you choose skinning and mining then you’re able to profit from selling skins of any monster you kill as well as selling any ore that you mine. You can sell as much of these base materials as you need on the Auction House to players who don’t want to do these things.
These basic gold-making tips are just the beginning. If you’re going to be a serious World of Warcraft player, then you’ll know that your characters need lots of gold to help them obtain the skills and abilities that they need. They need to buy armor and better weapons so they can keep completing quests, and as your characters reach higher levels, there are even more ways to make quick gold easily.
